Our annual Jump Rope for Heart campaign has begun.  Proceeds will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation with a small portion returning to the school.  Heart Disease touches us all, be generous and support the students as they collect funds for this great cause.  Our Jump Rope activity will be taking place on Friday, May 25th at 1:00 pm.  Check the website for other information at www.jumpropeforheart.ca.

 

 

We had a very successful fundraising campaign in Nursery Class this year.  Our Mini-Queen for the morning class is Angel Levi and the Mini-King is Dixon Clair.  For the afternoon class our Mini Queen is Taylor Wilmot and our Mini-King is Oliver Augustine. 

Thank you to all who helped us fundraise for the Nursery Class.

A big congrats to our middle school students who travelled to the District 16 Science Fair at NSER in Sunny Corner!  Incredible projects and more than a little nerves accompanied our students to the Fair.  Haley, Kallee, Stephanee, Tamara, Heaven, Loni Leigh, Bria, Kayci, Skye, Josie, Alora and Dara ~ You were incredible representatives for our school and our community!  See our Image Gallery ~  2012 Middle School Science Fair

             Congratulations to our grade 2 students who travelled to Gretna Green Elementary School in Miramichi to take part in the annual Elementary Science Fair.

             Keala, Erika, Journey, Mikaya, Ryla, Larrah and Jodi all showed off their science projects and their science smarts!  Way to go girls!

Oapos Winter Carnival is winding down with our Annual Pie in the Face where students get the chance to win the lottery - with the prize being the opportunity to pie a favourite staff member in the face! 

Always a very popular event and this year was no exception.  Finally - we all enjoy popcorn and a movie as we go our seperate ways over our March Break!  Be Smart, Be Active, Be Safe!  We'll see you back on Monda
